Grateful
Life be life’n right?!? We all have moments when our backs are against the wall or the situation feels bigger than we can handle. Moments when we are confused and unsure how to get to the next step or what the next step should even be. Lol, I would be overwhelmed for hours if not days obsessing about solutions but in recent months I’ve realized these moments ain’t even mine to be worried about. Some may think it’s cliche but God Has It and if you were to walk in my shoes you would know it’s the truth.
As I reminisced on 2022 I broke into tears multiple times because I am SO grateful. I lost heavy hitters last year and I’m still grieving but I’ve chosen to focus on what is present not what is lost. Honestly so much good happened I didn’t have a choice but to be present. The memories do create mixed feelings but joy is prominent. I got to share amazing moments with beautiful people while they were alive and daily I am blessed to share amazing moments with those living. Allowing myself and others to simply be was one of the turning points. Grace is essential! I got passionately honest with myself about who I am and what I actually want. Not my parents, the made up version of myself but who God made me to be. I released myself and others from made up standards, letting go of unneeded expectations, and letting God keep the wheel. This has blown my mind. It is not always easy but I pray about it and I have accountability partners. Strategy is always needed to be successful.
WHAT DO YOU WANT? What do you love, what wounds need healing or vices need coping with? Be honest! Aggressively pray for and into these things. Strategy is needed to be successful. I have unique parents that I must extend grace to often because I grew up missing things and trying to find them else where so for months I’ve been praying everyday at 1:43 that God feels every crack with his love and now I cry from being so full of love. PRAYER WORKS. I encourage you to lean in and feel the resolves. To walk in God’s repair. Don’t walk towards it or wait for it, walk in it for if you ask for it IT IS DONE.
