Another Day in Paradise
It’s never too late to start over. I am a recovering perfectionist therefore I contemplate on the mistakes I’ve made and exhaust myself trying not to make more. Especially in the past 3-4 years I am indifferent with how far I would be if I didn’t get that loan or if I saved when I had help. Should of, could of, would of. Not a cool viewpoint though. I prefer hindsight because I deserve all my credit, I made it. I am making it, you are making it, we are making it! Don’t beat yourself up. Often, we move so fast trying to get to where we think we should be but one of my best friend’s dad told me when you drive slowly you can see better, and your surroundings are clearer...
BREATHE. Forgive yourself. Take your time. Think things through, lol, like all the way through. Big picture, end game, long term and your decisions will begin to line up with your destiny. Remember God allowed you to be here, so the mistakes positioned you. It all helped you meet the people you know and be the wonderful person you are. Look around and take in your surroundings. You have overcome so much, you got this. If you are in the midst of a trial change your perspective and learn from it. What is this lesson, why was this the route? It could be because you’re never supposed to go down this street again, but you needed one last look to ensure that it doesn’t happen again. Who knows, lol, I don’t but God does and it’s always going to be alright. ALWAYS.
Remember it could be worst. We have bills, but we also have money to pay them. Rent may be high, but it gets paid and you have a safe place to live. Gas is expensive but you have a car. Be thankful. Enjoy like it’s Another in Day in Paradise. #SincerelyJamara
