Everything I have I have because I simply asked for it. That’s it, that’s the message, lol. Nah, but for years I accepted what came to me. The things that were easily accessible. I even made myself easily accessible under the guise that what is for me will reach me effortlessly. Things can come to us with ease, yet work is required. We must make it known what you want or else we’re simply going with the flow when our destiny is ours to get. Putting one foot in front of the other, sending the email, asking the questions, getting in the rooms, you gotta work and ask for what you want. First thing is to sort through what it is you actually want. Why do you want it? Are you able to keep it if you got it and are you equipped for the upkeep? Is there a genuine reason or is it solely a selfish want? Will this benefit only you or others? My imagination is vivid yet dreams can only come true in reality therefore I had to wake up to obtain them.

Get up! Make a plan. Start with a prayer and ask God to light the proper path. Short cuts are tempting but you do not want to miss a needed step. Do your homework. Study. Pivot when necessary cause you’ll learn things along the way. Remind yourself constantly that it’s already yours. This is where it gets noisy for me. Previously I competed with the noise by getting louder about my wants but recently I’ve decided to shut up and focus more. I’m in a stage of protecting my dreams because noise can kill them unintentionally. It can create doubt or add opinions that have the potential to trip me up so since my dreams are bigger and have greater risks I’m handling them with greater care. We shall see how this goes, lol, but I am expecting greatness. That’s all I’m saying; expect great things and do what gets you there. Be the person today that your dreams need you to be. Regardless of your past, regardless of your current resources, forgive yourself and know you’re worthy of exactly what you see and FEEL IT. Don’t let life tell you, you tell it! Ask for what you want, write it down and make it plain. God put it in your heart so go get what you want. Your way, the way that only you can, because it’s yours. #SincerelyJam 🦋
