Lessons From The Full Moon
The moon is something special. Yes, the sun is nice, I love how it’s radiates on my face and on my back but the moon touches deeper; it reaches my soul. When I’m driving and catch a glimpse of the Full Moon, it’s so massive that it looks alone in the dark night sky, it warms me differently… I Love It. The moon is not visible from everywhere, because that's not what it’s for, it’s designed to light up the shadows. The moon is soulful; similar to grandmas chicken. Not only does it nourish you the smell or mire sight of it makes you feel something. Clouds can cover it, it's sometimes half or crescent but the sight of a Full Moon hits different. Similar to sunrise and sun set, the moon is a rarity even though it shows up daily. It is simple beauty, so simple sometimes we miss it but that has nothing to do with its depth. The Full Moon does not blind you, it shines so peacefully that it allows the stars and the city lights to shine with it. The moon is vulnerability. With the naked human eye you can see some of the moon’s many imperfections. Craters hit it, it chips, has dents and cracks but it continues to shine. Similar to humans. That is why we often find the man in the moon, through its imperfections. The Full Moon has taught me to keep shining as only I can, with all my cracks and bruises. I encourage you all to do the same. Be vulnerable and allow those you can trust with your truth to learn from it and shine near your glow. You are DOPE and like the moon you can touch people simply by being you. #SincerelyJamara
