Pills and Potions
Have you ever wondered how you can go from being so close to total separation? How people can be head over heels in love and become indifferent? Hindsight, I don’t think they can…. I think we trick ourselves.
I’m sure some of you are like me, we’re loyal to a fault. I’m getting better at it but if I rock with you, I rock with you. I don’t hold grudges; I do my best not to judge and I forgive as soon as possible. It’s hard to stay mad at people because that feels heavy, right. Plus, there is a plethora of superior emotions to use. Well, there are consequences for that.
When you rock with people that don’t rock with you in a healthy manner toxicity may occur. Like a pill, you digest it in one system, and it affects them all.
Sometimes it does exactly what it needs to do and other times it upsets your stomach. We have our senses to maneuver therefore we cannot ignore the warnings. Think about it… Some poisons you don’t have to take, simply being near them can kill you. Don’t wait on the extremes because every encounter can hinder you. Do not ingest their nasty behavior. Do not sweep things under the rug. When you are disrespected, discouraged, or harmed, FEEL IT. Those are the keys to who you are, who your people are and aren’t. Don’t pretend you didn’t see what you saw. Do not trick yourself into thinking people are not who they show you they are. It may hurt so process it and make adjustments. God made you for great things. Make sure your life is a place where the best you can thrive. #SincerelyJam
