God’s Grace

Whoever says when you know better you do better lied, lol. Maybe when you know better you should do better. Or when you know better you’re more convicted to do better or conflicted when you don’t. I love God. I mean LOVE Him; I pray for my will to mirror His, I study my Bible,

I help others but a lot of days I am not my best. I’m not bragging just being honest on how living right isn’t easy and reminding you and me it’s necessary to not give up or beat ourselves up.

Intentions matter. What your heart is like matters. We gotta give ourselves the grace God gives. Nothing He does for us we deserve but He never fails. He comes through in the clutch, provides while we squandered, loves us unconditionally and although undeserving we’re immensely grateful.

The more I learn about grace and mercy the more I understand how importance it is to extend grace to others. Friends, family and loved ones require grace. We’re humans and we cannot get it right all the time. Imagine how intense your own life is, how easy it is to forget things that you would really love to do. One of my friends always says charge it to their head not their heart so I took that further and I don’t charge them at all. I love them. I’m not keeping score because that’s not what love is. Love is grace. Plus, what could they be going through? How hard it is to overcome some of the battles you face? We never know what some people our dealing with no matter how close they are to us so we gotta stay open.

People need people. How can we extend where we are strong to where they are weak? Because we don’t get some things right we gotta do what we can when we can to keep our relationships thriving. Now y’all know I’m not saying allow abuse or don’t have standards cause my standards are to the top of my crown and I suggest the same for you. I’m simply saying when we know peoples’ hearts we can’t let our un-agreed upon expectations or our insecurities spill out and cause friction. People need people.

Please love on each other. With the holidays approaching and the new year love some people a little harder. Not your ex that you have zero business talking to but your people. And embrace new people. We’ll never get it all right but if we position our hearts to love and forgive we won’t internalize the stuff that ain’t that deep. Really is anything deep enough to be arguing over or to hate people you genuinely love!?! I don’t think so. I suggest stop taking stuff personal. By doing so our load will be light and we can just Be. Remember we are only where we are by God’s Grace so don’t focus on perfection just be graceful. #SincerelyJam
